Skating qualifications: Gold Freeskate, Dance, Skills, and Interpretive

 

I love sharing my passion of free skate, choreography and technique that I have gained through the years of skating and passing it down to skaters. Figure skating is a beautiful but humbling sport. It has taught me musicality, technique, perseverance, goal setting, how to train and compete, and how to deal with failure. These were all lessons that shaped me to be the person and coach I am today. My favourite part of coaching figure skating is seeing the skaters improve over time and witnessing their accomplishments. 

 

Off the ice my passions include teaching French (I am a high school French teacher), being active (I am big into weight training) and learning Spanish.
